Fulham have asked about Newcastle United full back Emil Krafth but the Sweden international is unsure about dropping out of the Premier League.

Manager Steve Bruce needs players out before he can bring in his prime target midfielder Hamza Choudhury from Leicester City.

Fulham want a right back and the 27-year-old is one of the names on their list as they make enquiries and sift through available names before the window slams shut tonight.

Krafth joined Newcastle alongside Joelinton, Jetro Willems and Allan Saint-Maximin in 2019 from French side Amiens and has two years remaining on his £58,000-per-week contract.

The right back only joined the Ligue 1 side on a permanent deal earlier that summer after spending the previous season on loan, making 35 appearances.

Krafth started for Newcastle in their season opener against West Ham but has since been left as an unused substitute in their last two league games.

The Sweden international has been used as a centre back after Jacob Murphy established himself as Steve Bruce's first choice at right back.

But Fulham boss Marco Silva wants to restore Krafth to his original position at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have also made an enquiry regarding Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah but are pursuing other options including Swansea's Matt Grimes.

Swansea are signing Olivier Ntcham with the former Manchester City and Celtic midfielder undergoing a medical.
