Mikel Arteta's on-fire Arsenal side lead the Premier League by seven points but take on a buoyant Manchester United led by Michael Carrick this weekend
Arsenal lead the Premier League by seven points. And Mikel Arteta's side will look to keep up their solid form when they welcome Manchester United to the Emirates on Sunday.
The Gunners are flying domestically and in Europe, having put Inter Milan to the sword comfortably in the week. They have won all seven of their Champions League games and are almost guaranteed to top the group phase.
Michael Carrick's United are the challenge this weekend and they come to north London on the back of a 2-0 derby day victory over top-flight title challengers Manchester City. One player hoping to play a starring role is Gabriel Martinelli.
But the Brazilian has this week been linked with a shock move away from Arsenal, as Mirror Football brings you all the latest transfer updates from the Emirates.
Gabriel Martinelli bombshell
Martinelli has enjoyed a dramatic season with the Gunners, being publicly criticised for his interaction with Liverpool defender Conor Bradley in the 0-0 draw between the two teams earlier this month.
He replied to this with a hat-trick in the FA Cup against Portsmouth but new rumours suggest clubs from the Saudi Pro League are ready to pounce in a bid to sign the 24-year-old.
According to talkSPORT, the Saudi Pro League have their eyes on several Premier League stars this summer, including Mohamed Salah, Bruno Fernandes and the soon-to-be free agent, Casemiro.
But the report also claims that Martinelli is on their radar. Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are considered a contender for Martinelli, who it is claimed could reconsider his position at Arsenal after the World Cup this summer.
Gabriel Jesus drops transfer hint
Gabriel Jesus was the star of the show in midweek as Arsenal travelled to the San Siro. He bagged two goals in the first half before Viktor Gyokeres added his team's decisive third.
However, just this week, the Brazilian striker has changed agents. He has moved to Italian representative Giovanni Branchini and the 28-year-old's current deal in north London expires in 2027.
Changing agents could signal that Jesus is weighing up his future options and after the match against Inter, he dropped another hint about where he may like to play his football someday.
Asked after the match about what his two goals meant to him, Jesus told CBS Sports: "As a kid I always watched Serie A. I was dreaming to play [Inter]… you score and win against one of the best teams in Europe. It's an amazing feeling."
Reports suggest Italy could be Jesus' destination if he were to leave Arsenal in the near future, with both Juventus and AC Milan keeping an eye on him, per Calciomercato.

Martinelli and Jesus leaving would leave room for better consistent players to join the Gunners
