Gary O'Neil remains vulnerable as Wolves manager with the club actively weighing up possible replacements in recent weeks.
Wolves’ win over Southampton before the international break gave O’Neil a little breathing space though concern remains within the Molineux hierarchy about results and performances, despite handing him a new four-year deal close to the start of the campaign.
Even though there is a desire throughout the club for O’Neil to push through this negative period, Mail Sport understands Wolves have been conducting tentative discussions over who might succeed him. After Fulham, they take on Bournemouth, Everton and West Ham, following by meetings with promoted clubs Ipswich and Leicester before Christmas.
