According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will prioritize strengthening their midfield and left-back positions in the January transfer window, while targeting a center-forward and exploring the free agent market next summer, including Van Dijk.

Juventus could complete multiple signings in January. The impact of the new capital increase announced by John Elkann is expected to be more evident in summer transfer negotiations. Juventus must balance immediate goals, such as signing Hojbjerg, with the primary objective of returning to the Champions League. In the summer, the team will also seek a replacement for Vlahović, with Šeško and Balogun both under consideration. Carnevali plans to further strengthen the squad based on Spalletti's requirements, but only if players are sold and strict Financial Fair Play rules are adhered to.

Juventus made significant signings this summer. Goalkeeper Neto arrived to replace Grabara, who underwent surgery; Yildiz, Khéphren Thuram, and Locatelli also had operations due to injuries.

Hojbjerg is a target.

The squad will see many changes in the coming months, but Juventus currently hopes to bring in a new midfielder for Spalletti in January, ideally one who can cover for the absence of captain Locatelli. The 31-year-old Hojbjerg has re-entered Juventus' radar. This midfielder, a previous target for Juventus, possesses leadership and international experience. Olympique Marseille no longer considers him untransferrable, and Juventus has enough appeal to convince the Danish international, who is also being monitored by Fiorentina. If Koopmeiners leaves, it will be easier for Juventus to pursue this former Tottenham midfielder.

In contrast to Hojbjerg's age and profile, there is also 18-year-old Sassuolo player Bakayoko, a Carnevali favorite who previously played for Olympique Marseille. If Cabal departs, Juventus will attempt to re-sign Ait-Nouri on loan in January. The Algerian left-sided player has gradually fallen out of favour under Maresca. Juventus is also monitoring young goalkeepers and plans to pursue Frosinone's Palmisani, an Italy U21 player, in the near future.

What about a No. 9? Šeško is being watched.

In the summer, Juventus will resume their pursuit of a striker. It is unlikely that Vlahović will remain; he joined on loan, and Newcastle United is set to pay over 70 million euros for him in the 2025-26 season. Juventus will continue to monitor Manchester United's Šeško and Monaco's Balogun in the coming months. The Slovenian center-forward and the American striker have both had slow starts to the season. Brobbey is also on the list; he has scored 3 goals in 5 appearances for Sunderland in the Premier League.

Last week, Juventus sent representatives to Amsterdam to scout Brobbey's performance. Juventus also took the opportunity to inquire about 35-year-old Van Dijk's physical condition. The Liverpool defender's contract with the club expires in June. Currently, Juventus has a lengthy list of free agents they are focusing on, including Manchester City's Kovacic, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, Leipzig's Raum, and AC Milan's Tomori.
