In tonight's Premier League Round 3 match, Everton drew 2-2 with Manchester United at home. After the match, Tyrique George spoke to Sky Sports about his views on the game.

You fought until the final whistle and played exceptionally well. When Manchester United took the lead, Everton stayed in the game. What was the key?

We firmly believed we could come back, and we did. The whole team showed great resilience and character.

There have been various rumors about the team and the forwards circulating this week. Against this backdrop, how important was it for you to score today?

It was very important. That's what we want to do—score goals and win games. Although we didn't win, I think we had every chance to win this one.

Your goal was brilliant. Tell me more about that strike.

I just tried my best to shoot with power, and I'm very happy to have scored.

At this stage, how crucial are these points for the team?

Without question, our goal is to challenge for European football, and every point is precious. Today's result is very good, and I'm satisfied with it.
