Steven Gerrard has been pictured back at Liverpool's training ground as he prepares to take part in a charity match on Saturday at Anfield.
The former Reds midfielder is due to line up for a Liverpool Legends team against their Barcelona counterparts to raise money for the LFC Foundation.
Gerrard will be joined by a number of his former team-mates, including Jamie Carragher, Steve McManaman and Sami Hyypia.
Meanwhile, there will also be a number of high-profile names representing Barcelona, with Edgar Davids and Gaizka Mendieta set to play for the visitors.
It promises to be an emotional occasion for Gerrard, who established himself as an icon at Liverpool during his 17 years in the first-team.
The 41-year-old made 710 appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring 186 goals and providing 150 assists.
He won a number of major honours, which included captaining the side to Champions League glory in 2005.
Gerrard has now moved into management with Aston Villa, and returned to Anfield earlier this season as his side were beaten 1-0 by Jurgen Klopp's men.
The former England midfielder recently revealed that he has metal screws in his hips following a lengthy career at the highest level, and it remains to be seen how long he will be able to play for at his old home ground.
He appeared to be in good spirits during Friday's training, though, ahead of the clash between two giants of the European game.
