Glenn Hoddle has launched an attack on Tottenham's squad following their Champions League exit to AC Milan.
Spurs were tepid as they drew 0-0 with the Italian side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, creating few chances in the game.
It meant they lost the tie 1-0 on aggregate, and Antonio Conte's side were booed off by their fans at full-time.
They had just two shots on target in north London.
Hoddle, speaking on BT Sport, bashed the Spurs squad following the result, describing the players as not 'good enough'.
'Tottenham are at a crossroads. This squad isn’t good enough, fourth pace is better than they should be doing.
'There was no energy, there was no creativity. They found it so hard to get round the back.'
Hoddle went onto pick out individual players, with Cristian Romero being sent off for two yellow cards in the game.
Harry Kane, who will now go another year without a trophy to his name, was also picked out by Hoddle.
'(Cristian) Romero could be a wonderful defender but time and time again he gets sent off', he said. 'Collectively they weren’t at it tonight, Very disappointing.
'Harry (Kane) will be looking at that thinking he wants to play in a team that creates chances for him. They can’t put together back-to back-performances. There's no creativity there.
'Son (Heung-min) has played for weeks in chains, he's just worried about not making a mistake.
'It wasn’t good enough right the way through the team. There wasn’t enough ability out there. Tottenham get outnumbered in midfield, and that two can’t press against a three or a four.
Hoddle went onto describe Tottenham's midfield as 'a problem', shaming their decision making on the night.
'This midfield is a the problem for me. They can’t press, because there's big holes behind them', he said.
'It’s a real problem. He (Conte) has got to change his tactics sometimes.
'You’ve got to look at the player. (Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a good player, but look forward first. Too often they go backwards for nothing. They give teams time to get organised to press them.'
