Granada striker Soldado is a doubt to face Madrid on Saturday

Granada striker Roberto Soldado is a doubt to face Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon.

The veteran goalscorer suffered a muscle spasm in his adductor muscle in training on Thursday and has received treatment from the club's physio and in the gym.

Soldado is the most experienced player in the Granada squad when it comes to playing against Real Madrid, having come up against them five times previously.

With Soldado a doubt to play, Diego Martinez will have to choose between Adrian Ramos and Carlos Fernandez to lead the line against the league leaders.

Granada, who currently sit in second place in LaLiga Santander, will also be without midfielder Yan Brice Eteki for the trip to the Bernabeu after he picked up an ankle injury on Tuesday.

Eteki joins Fede Vico and Quini as midfield absences for Granada at the weekend, leaving Martinez short of options in the centre of the park.
