Granada vs Real Madrid: A worrying visit to Los Carmenes

Real Madrid will have to overcome European hopefuls Granada if they are to step closer to the LaLiga Santander title this Monday evening at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

Zinedine Zidane's side know that they need just five more points to clinch the crown, and a win in Andalusia could allow them to be named champions against Villarreal on Thursday.

But Granada will put it up to Madrid, as they have to everyone this season.

They've been performing above all expectations so far in 2019/20, and what had seemed impossible for them - qualifying for Europe - is now very much their ambition.

Despite having one of the smallest budgets in Spain's top flight, they've beaten Barcelona this term and have taken points from Atletico Madrid and Valencia as well.

Zidane knows that Los Blancos will have to be at their very best to overcome a disciplined, well-drilled side, and they'll meet a team capable of denting their title hopes.
