Transfermarkt has updated the latest valuation of Ligue 1 players, with 24-year-old Marseille forward Greenwood seeing his value increase by €10m, reaching €50m and entering the top 10 in Ligue 1.
In October 2020, young Manchester United player who was only 19 years old at the time, reached a market value of 50 million euros and maintained it for a year. However, due to alleged and domestic violence, Greenwood was arrested in early 2022, and his market value in the transfer market was also zeroed out in March 2022. In February 2023, the charges against Greenwood were dropped.
Greenwood left Manchester United, was loaned to Getafe in September 2023, and joined Marseille a year later with a transfer fee of €26m. Thanks to his outstanding performance, Greenwood's market value rose to €25m during his time at Getafe, and has now doubled at Marseille.
This season, Greenwood has made 21 appearances for Marseille in all competitions, contributing 14 goals and 4 assists.
