Griezmann reveals dream Arsenal team in FM but he replaces most of the side

Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has made no secret of his passion for computer games, and he has shared an insight into his Football Manager team.

As he did on Pro Evolution Soccer, Griezmann elected to take charge of Arsenal.

The France international clearly doesn't think much of the Gunners' team, however, as he has replaced the entire starting lineup with the exception of his compatriot Alexandre Lacazette.

Griezmann went for a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Everton's Jordan Pickford making the cut in goal, while Napoli's Kevin Malcuit was named at right-back.

Perhaps Griezmann's most unexpected selection is that of Chris Mepham, with the Bournemouth centre-back being included.

A more expected choice is Matthijs de Ligt, the highly regarded Ajax defended with vast potential, while Porto's Alex Telles is at left-back.

In midfield is another Ajax starlet, with Griezmann choosing Frenkie de Jong, who will join Barcelona this summer.

Partnering De Jong in midfield is Botafogo's Fernandes in another unusual choice.

Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey is deployed on the right wing, with Hirving Lozano of PSV on the opposite flank.

Portuguese prospect Joao Felix, of Benfica, is the attacking midfielder in Griezmann's side behind Lacazette.

There is another current Arsenal player on the bench in Sokratis Papastathopoulos, but the rest of the substitutes are new signings, including Liverpool defender Andy Robertson and Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon.
