Guardiola: Aguero reminds me of Romario, like a lion in the jungle

Manchester City will lift yet another Premier League trophy on Sunday, yet it will be a day tinged with sadness as Sergio Aguero officially plays his final domestic match for the club, and Pep Guardiola has compared the veteran to a lion in the jungle.

Having been the most prolific goalscorer to ever represent Manchester City, Aguero departs leaving behind a trail of history that few will be able to match, although the club will certainly spend the money to find the individual to do just that in the coming years.

"When he's fit he's a guy like Romario was in Brazil, a guy who in five metres is like a lion in the jungle, making steps that kill then opposition," Guardiola explained in his pre-match press conference.
