Guardiola reveals Laporte will be out for SIX months with knee injury

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed Aymeric Laporte will be out of action for six months with a serious knee injury.

Laporte was stretchered off during City's victory over Brighton but it was thought he would be available before Christmas after escaping major damage.

But Guardiola has now admitted it's unlikely the centre-back, who he's labelled the best left-sided defender in the world, will return before February.
