Willlock, wonderkid. Give him pork, and take him to the gym to add upper strength. Teach him to chase back. Then, unleash him. He's better than most of what we have in midfield, and has got goals in him, too.

Guendouzi still raw and is a CM, Torreira is a little bulldog. There is a lack of physicality vital in the prem.
First choice midfield more likely Xhaka Willock Ceballos, don’t be suprised to see this
long range doesn't mean he is good the free kick you are talking is the one he scored against claystal palace n which one else

you go watch soccer well and gurge the players well Guendouzi is fast he picked up those long successful pass he always recover to his position quickly more than Ramsey either he don't really conceed goals Xhaka can only use one foot he is slow he sleeps many times n loose the ball most of his foul end up a goal so I prefer Torreira Guendouzi Ceballos or Torreira Niles Ceballos
I think, since 1 year you haven't been watching football.Xhaka's gameplay has very much improved since 2018. He is the only play in team who hits efficient long range shots. In the set pice also he and torerra contribute a lot in providing flat and fast ball inside the D area. Also remember the freekick in which xhaka scored form side area.xhaka is a good player but still is better than guendouzi. guendouzi doesn't go directly to approach the ball in the defensive area he is very reluctant in man marking so I prefer toreirra, xhaka in cm role as ceballos is young and is not much experienced to play in epl.

Okay here is a question. Assuming we stick to the 4-2-3-1, name me the 3 players you want to see occupying the midfield positions out of Ceballos, Xhaka, Torreira, Willock, Guendouzi, Ozil, Iwobi. [image]
Xhaka out Ozil out I don't care about their experience or age whatever they have Ozil have no ambition to win the any trophy only play n get his salary Xhaka is full of drama he is slow he gives balls away he use to be lost he really can't control the game the rest I can make choices who I start thanks for including Willock but you forget Niles

Guendouzi one day but not yet. Doesnt push ball forward and takes the easy option. And falls to the ground too easily. We need a Ramsay

For me, Willock in mix now, and vying for a start with Guendouzi. Offers more offensively and defensively and covers ground more quickly. Agree that Emery needs to move away from Xhaka and speed everything up in midfield

They could make a really good Flying V in midfield. Ceballos as the slightly more advanced dribbling 8, Guendouzi as a shuttling passing 6, Torreira as a holding 4. Good mobility and technical security

Guendouzi lacks necessary discipline. Once he has that in his make up, then we can talk about him partnering Torreira. Right now, I won't have him in my first team.
I'll have Niles, if he is allowed to play at CM. He is better.

Guendouzi needs more game time. Xhaka is ponderous and slow, defensively poor, lacks pace, very one footed and slow to move the ball on. Manage out is def the way to go.

Guendouzi still has some way to go imo. Torreira , Özil, Ceballos would be our most creative midfield. & I believe we still have to aim at being more creative/more chance creation than being just press resistant or ground coverage.

I’ve said this before, but I’d really like us to lean into the Torreira, Guendouzi partnership. I think they could really complement one another. Upping the amount of ground the midfield can cover is a big priority for Arsenal imo.

Torreira, Guendouzi and Ceballos strikes me as a far more modern, rounded midfield trio, equipped for the Premier League. All three of those players signed in the last 12 months which makes me (cautiously) optimistic that Arsenal are recognising sone of their previous flaws.
