Zidane prepares for ManCity clash without Rodrygo (Marca)

Madrid completed their 2nd training session preparing for Wednesday's meeting with Man City on Monday afternoon, however, Zidane was forced to work without Rodrygo Goes.

Hazard encouraged to undergo surgery

Madrid had previous hoped that Hazard would be able to lead the team into the Champions League tie with Man City, yet after the Belgian forward suffered another ankle ailment, the player has been encouraged to undergo surgery.

Madrid win 61.9% of their games WITHOUT Hazard

Madrid win 53.3% of their games in all competitions with Hazard (1.9 goals per game), compared to 61,9% without him (2.2 goals per game), according to Opta.

Marcelo 'accused of driving without points on his licence & speeding'

The Brazilian was apparently doing 132 kilometres per hour in a 120 km/h zone near Valdebebas on December 19, 2019.

This is all according to El Mundo, who says the Real Madrid left-back was in court on Monday and insisted that he didn't know that he had no points on his licence.

'You're such a liar'

A journalist twice asked Marcelo if he wasn't aware that he had points on his licence, yet the Brazilian took issue with it. 

"You didn't know you had points, did you?" asked the journalist.

"You ask me what happened to me - you're such a liar," Marcelo responded while laughing.
