Haaland: Man United have been rivals since my birth, but my MU fan friends and I respect each other

Haaland: Yes, they have been my rivals since I was born (Haaland was born in Leeds; Leeds United vs Manchester United is known as the Roses Derby). So these games are always very special for me. I have great respect for the club and the players. But they are my rivals, always have been.

Many of my friends are their fans, so there has always been a competitive and passionate rivalry between us, but also mutual respect. I think it's important to maintain that intensity. They booed me a lot before the game, so I had to respond to them after the game.
