Erling Haaland has made history by becoming the only player in history to get a rare 10 out of 10 rating by L'Equipe for the second time in the same season.
The French publication gave him the perfect rating following his brilliant five-goal display in Man City's 7-0 win over RB Leipzig in the second-leg of their last-16 Champions League tie.
Haaland, earlier this season, joined the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Robert Lewandowski, when he netted a hat-trick and provided two assists in City's 6-3 victory over Manchester United in October.
By achieving the feat again just five months later, he joins PSG star Messi as the only player to accomplish the feat twice during their career.
He moves out in a league of his own though for achieving the perfect mark twice in the same season. It is a huge achievement given that last night's performance was just the 15th time L'Equipe has ever given out a 10/10 mark.
L'Equipe on their front page compared Haaland to E.T. - featuring an image of Haaland holding his finger up, which had a light coming out of it much like the movie character.
They also described him as a 'cyborg' that 'devastated everything,' and said that Haaland made highly-rated RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol live out a 'nightmare'.
In their official match-ratings alongside the 10/10 mark, they wrote: 'The Norwegian striker signed a historic quintuplet (22nd, 24th, 45th + 1, 55th, 57th) in the knockout stages of the Champions League which further confirms the exceptional season he is in the process of achieving.
'Beyond these goals, he was very useful in the game and in the aggressive pressing of his team.'
L'Equipe's ratings are known to be notoriously harsh, and it's a rarity to see a player given their top rating.
Kylian Mbappe memorably only received a 9/10 for scoring a hat-trick in France's World Cup final loss to Argentina.
From last night's match, the closest rating to Haaland was given to Kevin De Bruyne who got an 8 after he bagged a goal and an assist.
The rest of the City team were largely given out ratings of either five or six, though keeper Ederson got a five despite keeping a clean sheet. For RB Leipzig, five players received a rating of two.
It was a record-breaking performance by Haaland who joined Messi and former Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano as the only players to ever score five goals in a Champions League game.
The Norwegian achieved the remarkable feat inside just 58 minutes of Tuesday's comfortable victory, and he had hoped to stay on to get his double hat-trick before he was hooked off by Pep Guardiola.
Haaland also surpassed City's all-time record for goals in a single season, set by Tommy Johnson in 1929.
Johnson's haul was 38, and Haaland has plenty of time to build on the 39 he has scored so far this season.
After the game, Haaland said: 'We worked on the pressing, especially at home we have to run and press. We are so good at getting the ball.
'In my opinion, we should do this more. I think we can use this [pressing] more, there is more space for the guys in between to play.'
Haaland added: 'I told him [Guardiola] I would love to score a double hat-trick but what can I do? I'm blurry in my head.
'I remember shooting but not thinking. I was so tired after my celebrations.
'My super strength is scoring goals. Should I be honest? A lot of goals, I didn't think.
'I was just trying to get it into the back of the net. A lot of it is being quick in the mind and trying to put it where the goalkeeper is not.'
