Hakim Ziyech has hopped on a private jet headed for the UK along with members of his entourage ahead of joining up with new club Chelsea.

After a picture emerged online of Ziyech preparing to board a private jet headed for London, two separate videos have shown the winger sitting on board and looking relaxed.

In one of the clips he appears to look outside of the window as the rest of his entourage captured his rather laidback demeanour, while another shows him paying attention to something in front of him.

Chelsea completed the signing of the Ajax star all the way back in mid-February for a fee of £37.8million.

The Stamford Bridge club saw an offer for the 26-year old rejected in the January transfer window but finalised negotiations a month later amid increasing competition for his signature from rival clubs.

The Dutch-born Morocco international therefore became Blues boss Frank Lampard's first signing as manager after the club's transfer ban last summer.

Chelsea however have been extremely active ahead of this summer's window, having also added RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner to next season's squad.

The Germany international joined two months after his future Blues team-mate, completing a £53m move from the Bundesliga side last month.

Lampard may not be finished in the transfer market either, with Ziyech and Werner potentially being joined by Bayer Leverkusen's £90m star Kai Havertz, with Chelsea battling Real Madrid for the 21-year-old's signature.

Ziyech played 35 games across all competitions this season before the Eredivisie was cancelled following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, in the game he did play, he managed to record some 21 assists and notched eight goals himself.

The 26-year-old also slammed the decision slammed the Dutch Football Federation's decision not to award his side the title ahead of AZ Alkmaar after the Eredivisie was cancelled.

Both Ajax and AZ Alkmaar were level on points at the top of the Holland top flight, with the two sides still having 11 games to play.

But Ziyech was denied the opportunity to become a winner with Ajax one last time, and fumed at the decision, saying: 'So the goal difference, as it always is, doesn't count now? Bull**** of course. How did PSV become champion in 2007? Exactly, on one goal.

'That we are not official champions, well. Of course, I would also have preferred to have won the title on the field, but if you have to choose one club as champion, that is Ajax to me.'
