just can't imagine official's doing this, not just once but three times and the governing body in France also ruling against the player who had nothing to do with what happened. Could this be two Eurooean authorities cheating on a non European player as a way of curtailing his career?

This is the height of madness really. If you don't want a player to leave, then have a conversation with him, and convince him to stay.
It's unfair to play on a player's emotions and that of the club wanting to sign him as well.
Sending the wrong documents three times can only mean that it was intentional.
In my opinion, UEFA should sanction Chelsea for this. I'm not going to support frustrating a player and a fellow club, because it's the club I support that has done it?
What if something had happened during his flight to Paris, or back to London and who knows there was a crash?
So that's how Chelsea would be responsible for something so grievous, just because they want to play silly pranks?
I don't support this at all.
