But the Argentine may have confirmed this himself on social media. After a Blues fan uploaded a video welcoming the player to Stamford Bridge, Paredes was quick to retweet it, giving everyone the impression that the i's are dotted and the t's crossed.
And it wasn't only on Twitter where information was shared. On Paredes' Instagram account he posted a photo of himself with his wife and daughters at the airport, saying goodbye to his family in Argentina.
"Bye Argentina! We return home full of love. Thank you always to family and friends!!! We'll see you again."

This guy at 30 million is an absolute bargain. He possesses 2 things that our midfield doesn't have, top vision, one of the best in European football and a good long range shot, allowing him to possibly fill that number 8 role with those qualities... just need him to bulk a bit cos the prem is not as forgiving as other leagues in terms of physicality, it's what's hindering Jorginho too....

This guy is so good, it may just make up for losing De Bruyne... but it depends on if he's moulded into what he can be under Sarri and if he's kept happy unlike De Bruyne who we lost because of no game time...

You know Paredes would be a good acquisition for Chelsea. He is a great team player with a big bundle of goals that he has scored from scratch and passes that turn into big plays. The kid sees the field and reads the game phenomenally! Jorginho could be replaced for him, since failing to score and provide assists. The next step is to buy a striker like Patrick Cutrone or Moise Kean to supply us in the front after Morata and Giroud failing to score. Victor Moses needs to get a chance at least this season! And sarri should put five in the back with Moses playing! Or he should use that Hungarian tactic that Barça used against Madrid in 6-2 defeat! What do y’all think?? A comment would be appreciated!
