Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich has been hailed as an exciting and explosive affair by Jump Heynckes.
Prior to his scheduled press conference on Friday, the draw for the final four of the Champions League was made.
After beating one Spanish side at the quarter-final stage in eliminating Sevilla, Heynckes' men have been paired with another, drawing Real Madrid.
"It is going to be an explosive tie, but there is no fear from us going into it," he told the assembled media.
"These are two clubs with a great tradition in European football and two teams who play very attractive football.
"I know the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu well as both a player and a coach and I'm excited about it."
One man who his side will have to keep a close eye on is the red hot Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored in every single game of the competition this season.
"Along with Lionel Messi, he's the best player in the world and I've already talked about him with Toni Kroos," he added.
"I know that he does everything possible to work hard, he is extremely ambitious and on the field you can see that.
"As a player, his characteristics are incredible.
"He's one of the best, you see that every day and it is worthy of great praise."
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic also suggested that his side were even more determined to succeed after crashing out of the competition against Los Blancos last season.
"They have a team with great character, but we also have a very good team ourselves," he explained.
"I trust our players and our coach, who knows Real Madrid very well.
"Last year, they eliminated us, but this year we want to do better than that and I'm optimistic about reaching the final.
"We go into the game with respect but without fear."
The first leg will be played at the Allianz Arena on April 25.

regarding history have you ever won 2 Championsleague trophies in a rowπ€?, as old as your club have you ever won more than 5 european trophies.. play Bundesliga and be happy, with easy teams, your rivals now are Dortmund and Schalke who are not even in any european competition ππ
you wanna know two? i got three in a row πππ and now you yell about league we are the best so we dominate and talking about Dortmund i reckon it was the team who smashed you guys in your home in 2013 πππ so kid stop yelling about UCL we all know you are nothing without ref. you hardly manage to win the league π so you buy ref in UCL for club reputation. ππso, please
