The Denmark striker is the subject of talks with Napoli, where the Serie A champions want to setup a loan-to-buy arrangement.
Hojlund, however, retains a wish to stay at Old Trafford this season, says the Mirror.
The youngster was left out of the squad for United's draw at Fulham on Sunday and is effectively fourth-choice striker behind Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Despite his situation, Hojlund still has hopes of winning over manager Ruben Amorim and his preference is to stay.

All I see is any strikers will suffer in this club, Cunha wants to proof himself selfish along while Mbeumo wanted to leave a blue print of him not being a fluke after scoring 20 plus goals last season. Nobody is ready to play with the striker

lol it's like Rasmus knows he can weather this storm because Amorim won't be around much longer at Man UTD so he will get back in the team with time to come

Amorim is nonsense Man U it’s board won’t understand this until he relegate us this season. Play holjlund and sesko together up from in a 442 formation and see what will happen. Amorim can’t play this formation pls let’s get rid of him and if Saudi Arabia keeps coming for Bruno let’s cash in on home we have cunha already who can creat in that midfield we just have to bring in baleba this season Man U board is nonsense

A striker is paid to score not run around like a headless chook...useless
They not passing him the balls ⚽️ look at arsenal and Liverpool, same as city they look for their number 9,they force the ball to him, they do everything possible to give it to him, they shot when necessary, united is the most selfish team upfront,Beckham and giggs used to pass to anyone upfront

Playing for United is lucrative even when the team is struggling on the field. Nobody wants to leave.

This boy can turn things around! He needs to be around selfless players like Bruno and not the selfish ones who would not pass to him last year even when he had a clear chance at goal, the likes of Garnacho and Rashford! Also, Bruno must play 10 or else sit on the bench! Use the DMs who are there, Mainoo, Ugarte, Casemiro (pity you sent Colyer away!)

What happens if one of them get injured? Rasmus should stay. Sell the oldies Bruno, Luke Shaw, Casemiro instead of allowing them to run down their contract and go for free. Rasmus and Mainoo should stay coz they are young and full of prospect.
