Every other weekend, more than 74,000 fans descend on Old Trafford to watch Manchester United.
Combined with the customary European midweek games and cup matches, the range of normal match-day seats and hospitality packages brings in considerable money for the club.
"We believe Old Trafford is one of the world's iconic sports venues," Manchester United says.
"It currently seats 74,140 and is the largest football club stadium in the UK.
"We have averaged over 99% of attendance capacity for our Premier League matches in each of the last 21 years."
The club is part of a very exclusive club which can claim revenues north of nine figures from match-day earnings, based on both the volume and value of seats.
Indeed, only Arsenal in recent seasons can claim to make so much money from match-day activities, based on the cost of a seat at the Emirates Stadium and the enormous capacity.
In the past five seasons, United's earnings from match-days is more than £500million - with the only blot on the club's copy book being in 2014/15 when they did not qualify for European competition.

Hell of money coming into Utd's coffers , yet the team is under funded at the needed moments and the board headed by Woodward are clearly indifferent to the team's plight , even as some of them embarked of mystery visit to Saudi , some off to watch rugby games , the truth will soon be laid bare !

I don't care who's going be official referee between Man utd and Brighton , coz Kavin Friend and Jonathan Moss are indecisive, last Norwich city and Brighton Kavin refused to give penalty, again Jonathan Moss mess up the match between villa and Liverpool, so whom do you see among them, he will do the best, even moss give red card to Southampton when played with Leicester after goal already been scored, when kind of decision it's plus Rashford red card last year, so Jonathan Moss and Kavin friend are bias to me
