Phil Foden was the star of the show as Manchester City beat Liverpool 4-1 on Sunday and he took to Twitter to remind fans of just how far he has come after the game.

The 20-year-old capped a fine display by netting his side's fourth goal as they secured their first victory at Anfield in 18 years.

He then shared two pictures alongside each other, one of him as a ball boy at a City game and one of him scoring his goal against the Reds.

Following the recent social media trend he captioned it 'how it started... how it's going'.
