Messi provided another assist as Mbappé scored the winning goal against Brest.

PSG beat Brest late on in Ligue 1 on Saturday and their two key men combined late on to collect the three points.

In the 90th minute of the encounter, Lionel Messi clipped a ball in behind the Brest defence. Kylian Mbappé was one step ahead of the opposition backline and ran through on goal before rounding the goalkeeper and scoring to seal a 2-1 away victory.

It was the 300th assist of Messi’s career. As the Argentinian’s career has progressed he has adapted his game and operates in a deeper role, where he has made a significant impact with his passing ability.

Of the 300 Messi assists, 269 came with Barcelona and 31 with PSG.
