Manchester United have of course re-signed Cristiano Ronaldo, over a decade after he departed the club for Real Madrid.
Ronaldo, as per Man United, is back on a two-year deal with an option of an extra year:
It was reported that Ronaldo has set the Red Devils back an initial £12.8m.
CR7 has, despite only featuring twice for Man United, marked his return to the club with a bang.
The 36-year-old would net a brace on his debut vs Newcastle United last weekend.
This was followed by Ronaldo scoring the opener in Man United’s Champions League clash with Young Boys earlier this week.
United would go on to lose that tie but Ronaldo does look as deadly as ever in front of goal.
How much does Ronaldo earn at Man United?
Now, some insight into how much Ronaldo is earning at Manchester United has been provided.
As per Goal, though initial reports suggested that Ronaldo was to earn £480,000-a-week at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail, that figure is actually closer to £385,000-a-week. Poor Ronaldo right?
That figure also makes Ronaldo the highest-paid player in Manchester and in the Premier League overall.
The second-highest paid player in the PL is said to be Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne who is on a reported £380,000-a-week, with Man United teammate David dea Gea in 3rd place on £375,000-a-week.
Goal go on to explain that Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling are reportedly earning £300,000-a-week each whilst Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante earns £290,000-a-week.
