People are not understanding that the price for kepa is his release clause and not his actual value... when a player just signs a new contract you can't buy him directly, you have to trigger his/her release clause.. because he just signed a new long term contract, the club will try to not let him move any time soon, hence the clause being that high.. it's not his actual value people!!!!

you make no sense, his release clause and his value goes hand in hand. sure if he didn't have a release clause they would pay a little less for him but make no mistake when players sign a new contract and they put a high release clause in it, that's because they value that player at that price, and if another team wants him they have to pay up, for example imagine welbeck having a release clause of a 100mil, he would never get sold because no team values him at that price.
