Huddersfield are front runners to sign Ipswich's England youngster Dylan Crowe.
Ipswich have turned down a £300,000 bid from Huddersfield for the versatile youngster Crowe, 18.
The Tractor Boys are holding out for a £500,000 compensation fee for the talented teenager whose contract is up this summer.
But Huddersfield are hopeful of reaching a compromise and sealing a deal for Crowe, who has also attracted interest from Celtic and RB Leipzig, as they rebuild following their relegation to the Championship.
Crowe is primarily a right back but has also featured in midfield for Ipswich's youth sides.
He was promoted to England's under-18 setup this season after representing his country at every level up from under-15s previously.
Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with Crowe in the past.
