I think Alexis had just a long bad spell in United. Whenever he was about to regain his form, he would get injured which would interrupt his form again. So a mixture of those things compounded by not scoring as a sticker finished Alexis’ confidence. Then the media was always pointing at his wages. I think that too diminished his confidence further.

Alexis seems never fit in the dressing room no matter what club he plays for. If you look at his ig he doesnt follow lots of his teammates/exteamates. Even he played for Barca the only ex teammates he followed on ig are Puyol, Cesc & Xavi.
