Chelsea defender Reece James said he wants to see Eden Hazard back at the club in an interview.
James, who has been part of Frank Lampard’s squad this season, rarely shared the dressing room with the Belgian winger.
James spent last season on a loan spell at Wigan and, by the time he joined Chelsea senior team last summer, Hazard had completed his transfer to Real Madrid.
But having been at Chelsea since the age of six, he witnessed how vital Hazard was for the West London outfit since his arrival from Lille in 2012.
Unsurprisingly, when asked to name one former Chelsea player he would bring back to Chelsea, James said in an interview: “Eden Hazard. I just loved the way he played.
“I still love him. He'll go down as one of Chelsea's best players ever.”

Chelsea fans will always love Eden Hazard and what he brought to the club. Just because he left to Real Madrid at a time when we had the transfer ban doesn't make him less likeable in my view. He had always wanted to play under Zidane and he made this very clear about a year ago. We should also recognise that while the move was on, Hazard maintained great levels of professionalism and gave his very best performances in a Chelsea shirt in his final season and turned up in big games. That's all we could ever ask for.
