Ibrahimovic advises Mbappe: He needs to try the taste of blood

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a big fan of Kylian Mbappe, but the AC Milan striker feels that the young Frenchman needs a mean side in order to reach the next level.

The Swede has urged the Paris Saint-Germain forward to get out of his comfort zone and surround himself with people who will motivate him rather than compliment him.

"I love Mbappe, but he is still too comfortable," Ibrahimovic told Telefoot.

"He needs to try the taste of blood, he has to surround himself with people who will tell him that he is not the best player and that he still has things to improve," Ibrahimovic told Telefoot.

On how he maintains his own high level at the age of 40, Ibrahimovic puts it down to the way he treats his body and the tweaks he has made to his game.

"I want to show everyone that 40 is just a number, I can still do whatever I like," he said.

"I can't play like I did five or ten years ago, but I'm smarter and I have more experience."

Ibrahimovic is confident that AC Milan can win the Serie A title so long as his teammates are all dedicated to the cause.

"We [AC Milan] must believe in [being able to win] the Scudetto," he said.

"For this to be possible, you have to work, make sacrifices and believe. These are the key words.

"Without them you cannot be where you want, and this will mean that you don't reach your goals."
