Iniesta may pitch first ball in a Rakuten owned baseball team's clash

Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles will host Orix Buffaloes in a Chinese baseball game on Thursday and Andres Iniesta could throw the first pitch of the game.

Rakuten, a Barcelona sponsor, invited the Spaniard to make the trip and hope he will imitate Lukas Podolski's last year ceremonial pitch.

Two weeks after his arrival at Vissel Kobe - also owned by the same company - in 2017, where he could join forces with Iniesta, Podolski was dressed in the colours of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles to open the game against the same rivals.
