Manchester City have suffered an injury ravaged season but the list looks to have reduced to just two ahead of the West Ham game.
Pep Guardiola has been unable to pick from a full fit squad once throughout the campaign to date, which has played a part in seeing City fall 22 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
Benjamin Mendy and Aymeric Laporte have missed the last few games, with a knock and fatigue, respectively, and John Stones was absent for the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham.
Yet all three had been in training prior to the winter break meaning the Blues now only have Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane on the sidelines.
The reduced number of casualties couldn't come at a better time, either, as the Blues will soon face a hectic schedule following their break, with fixtures against West Ham and Leicester, the first leg of their Champions League knockout tie with Real Madrid, the Carabao Cup final, the FA Cup 5th round and a Manchester derby in the space of 18 days.
Here's when City's injured duo are expected to be back:
Raheem Sterling
Nobody has played more minutes for City this season than Sterling and it finally came at a cost in the defeat to Tottenham.
With only six minutes remaining of the match the winger was forced to hobble off the pitch clutching his left leg and it was later confirmed he had suffered a hamstring straing.
He was set to miss the visit of West Ham United but the game was called off due to safety concerns causes by Storm Ciara and has been rescheduled to February 19, cutting City's winter break short.
It seems unlikely that Sterling will have recovered in time for the rearranged game and he is also a doubt for the following trip to Leicester, with the priority now lying on getting him fit for the visit to the Bernabeu.
What Pep Guardiola said: "Has a hamstring injury and we will see. Of course it takes weeks, but we will see for Real Madrid. I don't know."
Potential return date: February 26
Leroy Sane
City have been without Sane all season after he suffered ligament damage just 10 minutes in to the Community Shield victory against Liverpool in August.
While the German was spared a full tear that could have put an end to his campaign before it had even began, it was still a serious injury that required surgery and months of rehabilitation.
Thankfully, Sane came through all of it without any setbacks and has since returned to full training with the rest of his teammates.
Guardiola is remaining cautious about throwing him straight back into the action, however, and the fatigue Laporte has suffered after returning at Sheffield United could influence how soon City bring their winger back.
What Pep Guardiola said: "When you have an injury for six months, you have to recover tempo, rhythm and be confident in your body and your knee. Surgery was perfect and he recovered incredibly well. He needs time."
Potential return date: March 1

1. Rangers fc of the Scottish premiership 2. When both in their prime, they were incomparable because they were two completely different types of players, and really just as good as each other. However in recent times messi has performed better 3. It’s hard to say because it could go literally either way, the last game was so tight! Based on current form of both teams I’d back a Real Madrid win, but to be honest I think It might just be another draw. 4. At this stage Liverpool look unbeatable. It’s hard to say, because it’s obvious that Liverpool will win the league a quite a few games before the end of season, and a lot of clubs kinf of tend to take their foot off the gas at that stage and play some of the youth players etc. But I don’t think Liverpool will do that, I think they will go unbeaten

ok.. What's your favourite team? Do u think Messi is better than Ronaldo? What's your predictions for the next classico? Do u think Liverpool will go unbeaten this season?

This is exactly what we need. Hopefully Sane can inject some sharpness into our goal scoring and if Sterling can hit his best form after a few weeks out we will be in a very good spot to challenge for UCL and scoop up the two domestic cups
