Tottenham have given their fans an inside look at small group training with a video posted on their official YouTube account.

Jose Mourinho and his players returned to Hotspur Way on Wednesday - taking the first steps towards a Premier League restart.

Premier League shareholders voted unanimously on Monday in favour of a return to socially distanced training, with players allowed to work together in groups of five in 75-minute sessions.

Officials needed at least 14 positive votes to press ahead with phase one of the he Return to Training Protocol, in which all contact between players remains banned.

And Spurs have given fans a closer look at how things are now working with the new measures.

The four-minute long clip begins with a groundsman disinfecting training dummies before we see Tanguy Ndombele and Son Heung-min taking part in a drill.

The excercise sees the players swap passes with a man on either side before finishing into a miniature goal.

The video then shows Hugo Lloris working with goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos in the distance before Dele Alli, Harry Kane,Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn are seen performing sprints and passing the ball around in a circle.
