6' CLOSE! Perisic's header off the post
POST! Icardi is given far too much room in the centre of the field as he drives at the PSV defence before picking his head up and delivering a lovely floated ball in behind towards the left side of the penalty area where Perisic was arriving. The Croatian’s first-time header cannons against the post and away. Great opportunity.
13' GOAL! Inter 0-1 PSV (Lozano)
GOAL! Lozano gives the visitors the lead! Bergwijn capitalises on a poor piece of play from Asamoah as the defender runs into trouble, before bursting down the right-hand side and delivering a perfect cross for Lozano. The Mexican could not miss as he was free at the back post to turn the cross into the net from only a few yards out. 0-1.
55' CHANCE! Politano's shot saved
Politano almost looked to be in behind again down the right-hand side, but Viergever got across expertly to win the ball back for the visitors.
73' GOAL! Inter 1-1 PSV (Icardi)
GOAL! Icardi draws the hosts level! Politano is once again able to find the space down the right-hand side to cut inside and deliver a dangerous left-footed cross. This time he goes long towards the far post and Icardi is on hand to head the ball into the bottom left corner of the net from a matter of yards. Inter are now heading through as things stand. 1-1.
Match Report
Inter slipped out of the Champions League after they were held to a 1-1 draw by PSV, confirming Tottenham's place as Group B runnersup.
A run of three games without a win in the competition meant Luciano Spalletti's side went into Tuesday's encounter needing to better Tottenham's result against Barcelona, and Mauro Icardi's 73rd-minute header looked to have booked Inter's place in the last 16.
Icardi's effort cancelled out Hirving Lozano's opener after 13 minutes, but it proved insufficient after Lucas Moura earned Tottenham a late 1-1 draw at Camp Nou.

Spurs entry with the expense of Inter... what now left in the room for Icardi is just to sit and rethink of bigger picture (a move to big club... perhaps will do good for him)

Inter players celebrating at length after the 1-1 is all you need to know to assess the losing mentality of this gutless team. Maybe I'm just too old for football these days but this past 8 years have been an entirely apathetic fan experience for me and tonight is the (anti)climax of this. I didn't think for a moment that this team was going to pull through. Total lack of confidence, they don't inspire, they just bore me to death. I'm done with Inter for now. See you when we have real players and a real manafer.

Spalleti should be sacked as he never play the young once. Our team Inter looks like the old people home team. What’s wrong with the young players that he have loaned ? We have no midfield. And we will end up not making the champions league next year. Maratha you better start looking for a new coach with younger talent in mind. This is the same as last year we started with a blast and we ended up fighting to finish fourth. Happy Christmas to all and especially to Moratta please give us a Christmas present. I like to have a new coach.

Inter gets what is deserve and that is the Europa league. First of all they stole the 3 point in the away game against us (PSV) in Eindhoven (should have been given a red card to the keeper) and now they can’t even win in there home game. There coach should have kept attacking after the 1-1 and don’t rely on another team (Barca) to do your work. Maybe they would have won then, because to be honest our defence(the two central defenders) is to weak for international level. Better luck next time
