Inter Miami are reportedly 'very interested' in the possibility of signing Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne in the summer.
De Bruyne announced earlier this month that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season on a free with his contract set to expire.
The 33-year-old is in the midst of his 10th season at the Etihad and is regarded as one of the greatest Premier League midfielders of all time.
And Sky's Florian Plettenberg claims David Beckham's Inter Miami are seriously considering a move for the player.
'Inter Miami are very interested in signing Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer after this season,' he posted to his 433k followers.
'However, talks are not believed to be advanced at this stage. Clubs from Saudi Arabia are also dreaming of securing his signature.'
Inter Miami already have the maximum of three designated players — Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba — outside of the league's wage cap.
But a transfer window in July, ahead of the second half of the MLS season, could offer room for manoeuvre.
Inter Miami sit fourth in the MLS Eastern Conference and beat LAFC on Thursday to progress to the semi-finals of the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The Herons won the Supporters' Shield last season, before losing to Atlanta United in the playoffs.
Messi and Co were given a wildcard into this summer's Club World Cup by FIFA president Gianni Infantino following their Supporters' Shield triumph.

He will join CR7 at Al-Nassr. The only problem i have with the SPL is the restriction of foreign players to just 10 per team. If they truly want to develope their league to the fullest, then they must abolish this policy and accommodate as many foreign players as possible!!!
And play third fiddle to Al Ittihad and Al Hilal.

what really that the best way to develop your league by having as much home grown /home players spots as possible as big as the epl is that's the law for the English league
In the EPL and other top European leagues, they have over 15 foreign players in each clubs. And 11 foreign players can be featured at once in a match if need arises. On like the SPL were only 10 foreign players are allowed in a club and only 8 can be featured at once in a match.
