Inter Milan academy director Samaden admits mixed emotions seeing Casadei succeed at Chelsea

Inter Milan academy director Roberto Samaden admits there's mixed emotions seeing Cesare Casadei progressing at Chelsea.

Casadei moved to Chelsea over the summer.

Samaden said: “There's disappointment at not seeing him in a Nerazzurri shirt anymore, but the joy of seeing him at Chelsea is still real.

"Selling him was an understandable choice from the club's point of view financially."

Samaden also spoke of the form of left-back Fede Dimarco.

“He's an example of how youngsters in the Italian youth academies should be brought through," he said of Dimarcio, “thanks to our focus on technical development, he came into our youth system very young and then worked with a number of coaches to reach his full potential."
