With Edin Dzeko's contract running down, Inter are making contingency plans should the veteran failed to be persuaded to stay next season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Scamacca is their top choice to replace Dzeko.

The former Sassuolo and Roma centre-forward is in his first season in England, where he has battled for consistency.
