Chelsea news as Frank Lampard's side return to Stamford Bridge for Premier League action with Steve Cooper's relegation-battling Nottingham Forest heading to west London
Chelsea are back in action when they play Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues secured their Premier League status with a 3-1 defeat of AFC Bournemouth last time out, with Conor Gallagher, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix on the scoresheet for Frank Lampard's side. Chelsea are playing for pride with four games left of a poor season for Lampard's side, who have been managed by the club legend as well as Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel this season.
Forest, though, are looking to take another big stride toward safety in their first Premier League campaign for over 20 years. Steve Cooper's side are three points clear of the relegation zone after a 4-2 defeat of bottom club Southampton at the City Ground on Monday.
The Reds know they have breathing space between Leicester City and Leeds United, in 18th and 19th place respectively, and will fancy their chances of staying up. Forest will also be hopeful of beating a Chelsea side that could only manage a draw on Trentside on New Year's Day, when Serge Aurier cancelled out an early goal from Raheem Sterling.
Because the game is being kicked off at 3pm in the UK, it is not being broadcast live on television domestically in order to comply with blackout rules. The action is being shown live around the world, though, with the USA Network broadcasting the action in the United States of America.
USA Network, run by the Premier League rights holder in the US NBC, is available on cable and satellite providers as well as live streaming services. In Canada, FuboTV has the rights to the action while the game is also being shown in other territories with a Premier League rights deal including the Middle East and North Africa, where beIN SPORTS will be showing the game.
