A-LEAGUE star Eric Bautheac scored an outrageous “rolling Panenka” penalty in Brisbane Roar’s 5-3 defeat to Adelaide United.

The Australian top-flight side lost their first game since appointing Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler as head coach from next season.
Nicholas D’Agostino theatrically fell after a collision with Adelaide keeper Paul Izzo to win a penalty for Brisbane 15 minutes in the second half with the game tied at 2-2.
And Roar star Bautheac took it in an incredible fashion, bamboozling everyone including the goalie.
The French winger seemed to have attempted a Panenka to embarrass Izzo.
But instead, he just scuffed the ball gently, sending it slowly rolling towards the goal.
The Adelaide keeper dived the wrong way and was so stunned he did not even try to save the strike even though it seemed he could have easily reached it.

That keeper should never be allowed between the posts again, he gave up way too easily probably could have stopped the ball if he had attempted to after his dive, and if he is not able to reach it, at least we'd know he tried

Penalties like that only comes once it was foot goal but so risky if the keeper had saved that one the headline would have been the worst penalty ever

he was really lucky,i bet he tried a real panenka but it didn't work and the keeper just dived in the wrong way, imagine if the keeper dived the other way,it will be really embarrassing for the player

The goal keeper is in fact a lazy one should it be a top flight keeper who wants to add to his achievements like oblak Tstegen they would have saved it since it wasn't a fast moving and also closer

he actually wanted to play penenka but he didn't get it right but he was fortunate enough to score. it was a mistake turning to a goal still.

True that, the was no way he was gonna reach it. This could cause a very serious injury. As a goalkeeper, you choose one side not unless you wanna twist your waist and be on wheelchair.
