The fans at the Estadio Benito Villamarin were left fuming in the 65th minute of Spain's UEFA Nations League match against England, as they called for a penalty which wasn't given.
Rodrigo Moreno robbed the ball from Jordan Pickford, but fired wide when under pressure from the English goalkeeper.
Polish referee Szymon Marciniak waved away the appeals for a spot kick and MARCA's refereeing expert Andujar Oliver agrees with him.
"The polish referee was correct," he said.
"The ball gets away from the goalkeeper and what happens between the two players is a struggle and not a pull, like the striker claims."
The score was 3-1 to the visitors at that point of the encounter.

It's not a penalty you Muppets. There are tussles like that in football in every corner a team gets. Should opposing teams get penalties for defenders going shoulder to shoulder? you guys wither do not watch football or have the biggest anti English agendas 😂. That was a great tackle too, I'm sure some of you thought that was a foul as well 😅😂

Football is not Kung-fu. There is nothing like using your hands to shake off the opponent even if you are a goalkeeper. England just got lucky but we can't ignore the facts that for a sane and fair referee, that was a penalty.
