Jack Grealish was at the centre of the drama on Wednesday night when Manchester City took on Club American in a pre-season friendly at the MRG Stadium.
Grealish came to blows with Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa in the 24th minute of the game before clashing with Bruno Valdez in the second half.
Despite the drama, Manchester City managed to walk away from the game victorious as Kevin de Bruyne provided a brace to win 2-1.
Wednesday's fixture in Huston may have been regarded as a pre-season friendly but that didn't take the competitive spirit out of the game.
Grealish - who signed for Manchester City from Aston Villa in a deal worth £100million last summer - was the centre of attention at the MRG Stadium.
The England midfielder clashed with Club America's goalkeeper, Ochoa, during the first half of City's pre-season friendly.
The incident took place after the 37-year-old shot-stopper tried to pull Grealish to his feet after he went down inside the box.
Grealish felt he should have been awarded a penalty and rose to his knees to gesture to the referee.
Ochoa grabbed hold of Grealish's left arm and tried to pull him to his feet. However, the 26-year-old winger pulled away furiously and continued to complain to the ref.
Ochoa was irritated with how Grealish reacted and decided to push the England winger back to the ground.
It's safe to say Grealish was not happy - jumping to his feet to shove the Club America goalkeeper back.
Ochoa's team-mate wasted no time in getting involved. Around nine players jumped to the keepers defence and engaged in a shoving contest with Grealish.
Grealish and Valdez also went head-to-head on Wednesday evening after the Paraguayan centre-back went crashing through the back of the City midfielder.
Bernardo Silva played the ball into Grealish early in the second half. However, Valdez came flying in from behind as the England international tried to control it.
Grealish hit the floor before bouncing up to confront the defender - who reportedly said: 'This is for your chirp at Almiron!'.
Frustrations for Grealish didn't stop there. He was deprived of a clear and obvious penalty in the second half. However, this incident didn't erupt like the others.
The 26-year-old ran towards the referee to complain, but little came of it and play continued.
Despite all the drama, Manchester City managed to walk away from the game victorious.
It was De Bruyne's brace that secure Pep Guardiola's side a 2-1 victory at the MRG Stadium.
