James Rodriguez is almost ready to return to action for Everton. The Colombian was injured against Burnley on December 5, and a muscular injury has kept him out since then.

Despite his return being delayed initially, James is now set to make a comeback.

"I'm fine now," James said on Twitch, while playing Call of Duty Warzone with gamer Flexz. "I'll play in a few days."

Everton take on West Ham on New Year's Day at Goodison Park, which could see him return to the starting XI.

The Toffees have won all four games that he has missed in the Premier League - beating Chelsea, Leicester, Arsenal and Sheffield United - but lost in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals against Manchester United.
