Jamie Carragher has hilariously translated the post-match interview of Robert Lewandowski as the former Liverpool defender claimed the Pole took digs at Jurgen Klopp and Romelu Lukaku.
Lewandowski played the full 90 minutes as Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain to win the Champions League final for a sixth time in the behind closed doors final in Lisbon.
The Poland international played a key role in getting the Bundesliga champions to the final, but drew a blank on Sunday, with team-mate Kingsley Coman netting the crucial winner to down the French.
And Carragher, who learnt Polish at school, has attempted to translate the striker's post match interview with Polish television, although certain parts of the translation are slightly ropey as he aims a light-hearted jibe at Liverpool boss Klopp and Inter striker Lukaku.
'Best feeling of his life,' he translated on CBS Sport. 'Can’t believe it’s happened after losing the last final against Bayern Munich. This time he’s won it.
'He blames Klopp for that. Just disappointed he never got on the scoresheet, he feels that may have got him the Ballon d’Or, something he missed out on.
'I think this proves I am the best number 9 and not Lukaku.'
After that final comment, the studio bursts into laughter as Carragher is rumbled, with Roberto Martinez, who is Lukaku's manager with Belgium, saying: 'He was convincing up to that point!'
Carragher has been part of the US broadcaster's coverage of the Champions League this season, with Sky Sports giving the Liverpool legend the green light to work for the broadcaster.
The likes of Clive Tyldesley, Micah Richards, Peter Schmeichel and Alex Scott have also been part of CBS' coverage of the European club competition.

Truly in current time. Lewy is the world greatest No. 9 over any other.
