CBS Sports pundits ribbed Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel over the club's heavy 4-1 defeat to Man City at the weekend.
The Red Devils have faced heavy criticism after they were outclassed in the Manchester derby.
Schmeichel, who also played for Man City towards the end of his career, was a guest on CBS Sports' coverage of Liverpool's Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
It didn't take long for the topic to come up, as presenter Kate Abdo asked: 'Peter, you're still standing after Sunday mate?'
Schmeichel shared a laugh with co-pundits Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry at Abdo's remark before saying it was a mixed weekend for him.
He said: 'Welcome back to the studio hey. It's been a very very mixed bag.
'As I watched my son (Kasper) play against Leeds on Saturday and they won 1-0 - two consecutive clean sheets and six points that was brilliant.
'Then on Sunday seeing Manchester United... I wouldn't say play Man City but be outplayed by Man City.
'Basically we've been exposed to the level that we're at.'
Before Schmeichel could continue, ex-Liverpool defender Carragher jokingly asked: 'So you still think they can win the Champions League.'
The former Danish keeper laughed at Carragher's comment before adding: 'That was in the Premier League, let's take it one tournament at a time.'
Last month, Schmeichel left his CBS Sport pundits in stitches after insisting that United could win the Champions League.
Micah Richards asked: 'Peter, do you honestly believe that Man United can win the Champions League? Be honest with me now. No messing around.'
After a long pause, Schmeichel who won the Champions League with United in 1999, said: 'Yes!'
As Richards, Carragher, Henry and presenter started laughing, Schmeichel added: 'What kind of a question is that?'
Carragher replied: 'What kind of answer is that?!'
Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League knockout clash on March 15 at Old Trafford, with the first leg in Spain finishing 1-1.
