Jimi Gower signs professional contract with Arsenal

Jimi Gower has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old joined us at Hale End in 2017 and has been a key member of our academy sides ever since.

The midfielder made 21 appearances for our U18s last season, including playing a vital role in our FA Youth Cup final run.

“It's a really proud moment for me, something I've been working towards for a long time. I'm happy and also excited for the future,” Jimi told Arsenal Media.

“I just think it’s going in the right place, bringing young players through, so I think it's the right place for me to continue my career.”
