Lille forward Jonathan David has once again spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League and claimed a move to England is 'very possible' in the near future.
The Canada international has been linked with a move to England in recent months, with Manchester United unsurprisingly linked given their need for striking reinforcements.
David, who has scored nine goals in 16 appearances for Lille so far this season, admitted he cannot see a future 'anywhere other than the Premier League'.
In an interview with La Voic du Nord, the 22-year-old said: "In England, when I watch the matches, everything is full each time. As a player, it motivates you even more.
"I don't know, I think it's possible, very possible. I don't know if I can find myself anywhere other than the Premier League. It could well be the Premier League. It's a very nice atmosphere."
United are keen to reinforce their attack with a new striker in January following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Reds are unlikely to spend big on a new addition in the winter window, with a move for a cheaper option or a loan more likely.
David has registered 41 goals and nine assists in 112 appearances since signing for Lille from Belgian outfit Gent, where he bagged 37 goals in 83 matches.
Earlier this month, he hinted as his desire to play in England after suggesting that the Premier League is 'best league in the world'.
Speaking during Canada's World Cup campaign, David said: "I am aware of nothing. When I am at the World Cup I am just focused on trying to enjoy the World Cup and enjoying the moment.
"What happens after I do not know, we will have to see. The Premier League is the best league in the world and I think every player would want to play there some day."
While United have previously been linked with a move for the forward, the club are assessing options primarily available on loan, rather than looking to recruit a forward on a permanent deal in the mid-season window. This could mean that a move for the player, at least in January, is unlikely.
