Jose Mourinho has revealed he will not watch Amazon's All or Nothing documentary on Tottenham's chaotic 2019-20 season and hit out at 'the feeling of being in Big Brother' as film crews continue to follow the squad.
Speaking on Zoom for his Friday press conference, when asked if he will be tuning into the final eight-part series later this summer, Mourinho took aim at the whole project.
'I don't like the feeling of being in Big Brother,' Mourinho said. 'I tried to forget them the majority of the time.
'I have no idea what is there, I have no concerns. Nothing is fake, everything is real.
'I think for them it must be great for them because they have day by day, 24 hours of what football club and dressing room is. They have everything.
'So, so, so, so real, nobody acted for it. It is just the way it is. Am I going to watch it? No. No I'm not.
'It is not something I want to, also because I know better than anyone what our day by day is here but I think it will be very, very interesting for the people who love football and love sport. I think it will be really great for them.'
The dramatic moment Mourinho walked into Tottenham's training ground as Mauricio Pochettino's replacement was aired as a teaser to the documentary on Friday.
Pochettino was sacked in November after five years in charge and Tottenham made the power play to appoint former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Mourinho.
The teaser clip, which was posted on Friday morning, shows club chairman Daniel Levy rationalising the decision before it cuts to players in shock in the canteen moments before Mourinho emerges.
He waves before the clip cuts to the Amazon end plate, giving fans a flavour of the drama to expect when the full documentary series airs at the end of July.
Tottenham were slumped in 14th when Pochettino was relieved of his duties.
While it has not been a smooth ride since Mourinho took charge, the club are now sat in ninth.
Pochettino had took Spurs to the Champions League final in Madrid last summer, losing narrowly to Liverpool, but the start of the 2019-20 season proved bitterly disappointing and Mourinho was appointed with the club targeting a trophy success.
When it came to the edit, Amazon's cameras have had plenty of action to capture at Spurs this season.
In March, Dier climbed into the stands to confront a fan after an FA Cup home defeat by Norwich. That earned the England midfielder a four-match ban and Β£40,000 fine from the Football Association - a decision which infuriated Mourinho.
A week after Dier's clash, Tottenham were knocked out of the Champions League by RB Leipzig as their season unravelled. They also lost 7-2 to Bayern Munich earlier in that competition, when Pochettino was manager.
Amazon continued filming behind the scenes at Tottenham despite the coronavirus pandemic forcing the Premier League's suspension in March.
Friday's clip comes after fixed cameras in the tunnel caught the aftermath of Hugo Lloris and Son Heung-minβs clash at half-time of their game against Everton on Monday.
All Or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur will launch on Prime Video later this year
