subbing rashford was not the mistake of this game.. carricks subs were ok..it was his tactics that scattered the game you were winning 1-0 and the players refuse to attack forgetting that 1-0 is easy to equalize.. the moment everton equalized united starting attacking again and they got another goal..united were suppose to keep attacking them to get as many goals as possible so that even they score they wont be able to equalize again. united had an open game to beat everton very well but the tactics was poor from Michael carrick.

Taking Rashford off was a costly decision because he was making an impact at both ends of the pitch, helping the team in attack while also tracking back to defend. Bringing on Dorgu did not provide the same level of contribution, and instead, it left Luke Shaw with even more defensive and attacking responsibility. Shaw was eventually substituted as well, making the whole change look even more questionable. In my view, it was a poor tactical decision from the coach.
