Liverpool have been Manchester City's main Premier League title challenger in recent seasons but Jurgen Klopp's side find themselves fighting for a top four spot this season
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has delivered an honest verdict on Arsenal and Manchester City's Premier League title fight this season. The Gunners lead the way at the top of the table, five points ahead of the reigning champions, after their win against Everton on Wednesday night.
Liverpool are mounting a late charge to finish in the top four after a poor season by their standards, currently sat sixth and well below where they are expected to be given their success in recent seasons. Klopp has now offered his honest verdict on the title race between Arsenal and City, admitting he couldn't be 'less interested' in other teams challenging at the top of the table.
Speaking ahead of the Reds' clash against United this weekend, Klopp said: “Arsenal, my God. They are flying and having results and playing really good football.
"I respect that a lot. Man City is Man City, playing good football and are there as well.”
The Gunners must find a way to deal with the return of Europa League action this month as Arteta looks to welcome back Gabriel Jesus in a boost to his squad. City have the best squad in England considering their immense quality in depth, but Arsenal will be hoping they can continue to hurdle all the obstacles thrown their way and win the Premier League title for the first time in nearly 20 years.
